Gold Beach Resources
This
corner of paradise offers many ways to recreate and
relax and you'll find all of your essential, every day
needs met here as well.
Food items and sundries can be found at several
grocery stores. You'll find over 50,000 volumes at
Gold
Beach Books in the heart of downtown - where you'll also
enjoy coffee and baked goods. Gas stations abound and
your banking needs are met by three local
banks. Gold Beach is the County seat and we host
the only
hospital network and emergency room south of Bandon.
Your personal and beauty needs will be met though a variety
of resources - for hair care and beauty salon, give Marna a
call at 541-698-7709. You'll also find
Massage Therapy,
beauty supplies and a wide range of
spa
services.
Food is an important part of any vacation and Gold
Beach has some remarkable dining choices for a small
coastal community. For formal, upscale dining
you'll find
Spinners Seafood Steak & Chop House, and the
Nor'Wester. For a more informal environment but
with excellent gourmet foods, try the Rollin in Dough,
Anna's by the Sea, or the Cape Cafe. We'll be
happy to direct to any of these fine restaurants or any
of the other 15plus restaurants in town.
A wide spectrum of artists have been seduced by the
beauty and temperate climate of the stretch of Pacific Coast
which runs from Klamath, California to Port Orford, Oregon.
You'll find more information about local artists and the art
life on the coast on the
WildRiversCoastArt.com blog developed by a popular local
artist.
More in-tune with small boutiques and specialty
shops? You'll find those as well.
Have friends visiting the area in their RV? While
our drive and parking will not provide adequate space for
them, they can camp in a variety of local
RV Parks.
Flying in? Gold Beach has a small private
airport and one rental car - but if you need
transportation, we'll be happy to assist you - just give us
a call!
